We hosted two 1-hour sessions assembling 3D laser-cut wood puzzles at the Winter Park Library this month. We built penguins and turtles in commemoration of Earth Day! These puzzle kits were donated by Robotime. Although these puzzles are technically ages 8 and up, in our experience they are a little too challenging at that age, and so we invited tweens and their parents (ages 10-13). The assembly requires maintaining organization of pieces and patience with the diagram directions. Pressing the tight-fitting pieces together can also be challenging for little hands. We put classical music on in the background and worked together.
