Another year, another Maker Day with Winter Park Library. This year we showed kids (and parents) how to assemble their own D&D dice from 3D-printed dice kit cards. The kit cards were FDM printed in PLA in various colors. The D6 was easiest to assemble given both familiarity and the materials and settings we used. We had more trouble with the others, but at least everyone participated in the process, and most importantly for Maker Day, we demonstrated how you can make your own products easily and affordably. We used a Bambu Lab X1C printer. The cards were printed with 100% infill and slightly scaled up to make them a little easier to assemble. Thank you again to librarian Grace Moore for inviting us!
Very special thank you to Tjoene on Maker World for creating all these wonderful dice kit card models and directions!!
