This summer (June 12-15) we ran a C# .NET evening bootcamp at Winter Park Library. We covered the basics of programming with a typed language and how to use Microsoft Visual Studio to make simple GUI applications. The crowd was mostly adults with one high schooler and one middle schooler. It was a nice, comfortable venue to teach in with plenty of room and high end machines. There were some great questions. We enjoyed it very much!
Thank you to WPL veteran employee, Andrew Montanez, for his support, outreach and even setting the event up. Andrew runs most of the computer / IT / maker technology for WPL and is super friendly and knowledgeable. He can show you how to use their 3D printer, laser engraver, VR headsets, etc.
